I painted this from a set up in my studio. The butterfly was dead when I found it. I'm not sure what kind of skull this is. I have been including marbles in my still life paintings a lot lately. They are so much fun to do. I have a big collection of them. This painting looks great in an off white & gold frame (not included in this price but could be for additional fee) photo's upon request. This painting won the directors choice award at the 2021 "In art show", a juried show held at the Hallberg center for the arts in Wyoming MN.
